On a nice day this short walk from Rockcliffe is a delight, with views over the estuary to Rough Isle, Almorness and Bengairn in the background. At Castle Point you will find an orientation table indicating what you can hope to see if the weather is clear. You can of course continue along the cliffs to Sandyhills if you have the time.
The path is quite rocky in places and there is at least one muddy section. Public toilets are available in the centre of Rockliffe.
