All of the walks featured in this blog contain a link to the route description on the D&G council page – simply click on the picture of the guide to download the full pdf document from the Council website.

I have categorised all of the walks by distance and geographical area

so that you can more easily find a walk that suits you and the time you have available. You can select from the walks I have completed by category from the menu in the top right of the screen. I have also categorised the walks by the difficulty of the terrain – from ‘fully accessible’ (where I think a wheelchair user could manage the path) to strenuous (which might even include a bit of a scramble). Don’t confuse this with the length – a walk could be 20km long but still ‘easy’ if it is all relatively level paths and tracks.

You can download a kmz file for any of the routes by clicking the ‘Download Route’ button, which you can then use in the mapping app of your choice.

All posts include a variety of photos including one of your starting point for the walk (except for one or two where I forgot).

Comments/suggestions can be added to any of the posts so that others can benefit from anything you have discovered, or you can tell me about something I missed or got wrong.
