If you suffer from vertigo then this probably isn’t the walk for you as the first section involves some narrow paths along the top of cliffs and steep banks, but if you dare it you are rewarded with some dramatic views particularly out to Hestan.
I completed the full loop but you won’t miss much if you take option 2 as Racarrel Bay doesn’t have a great deal to offer (note that there is no longer a car park as indicated on the map as the landowner has chosen to block it off). The return leg is mainly through conifer plantations and muddy fields with cows, so next time I visit I think I will do it as a there and back again walk along the cliffs.
