It’s great to see the landowner working with walkers and cyclists by providing information about paths and cycle routes on a noticeboard in the car park (the honesty box asked for £1 at the time of my visit). The path down to the shore is well maintained and gives a pleasant stroll through woodland. To get to the cave there is then a 400 yard walk across the shingle which would present a challenge to anyone unsteady on their feet.
