It’s such a beautiful spot to visit that the bumpy track down to the bay should not put you off. You might even get as lucky as I did, with the place to myself for an hour on a blazing June afternoon.
I didn’t manage to complete the walk due to a combination of a new fence and some very inquisitive cows which took a keen interest in my dog. To be honest I wasn’t that disappointed as the coastal section was worth walking twice and the proposed return leg through fields didn’t look all that exciting. Plus it gave me more time to enjoy the solitude of the wonderful beach.
