An area of coniferous woodland with some impressive Douglas Firs along the bottom path. The route is mainly on steep forest trails with some rough paths connecting them. There are other options in the woodland for you to explore but make sure you get to the bench at the viewpoint, which offers great views of the Solway. The woods are popular with local dog walkers.
