An interesting walk through Agnew Park and along the coast, with a section tagged on through a housing estate. Unless you particularly want the exercise of climbing up the bank I’m not sure what value this addition brings to the walk – I would suggest walking back along the shore and then going in to the town centre at the end of the walk instead. Note that the guide refers to steps up to Larg Road but there are no steps, and the rough path has been partially collapsed by a small landslide caused by the winter storms of 2021/22.
