Mull of Galloway

On a fine day the Mull is such a lovely place to visit you could easily spend the day over this short walk. The lighthouse and information centre, the RSPB reserve, the cliff top walks and birdlife, and (once it has reopened) the stunning cafe make for a great day out.

For a variety of reasons I didn’t complete the walk by returning along the road but instead returned along the cliff tops (my dog was with me, there were dozens of cattle with calves on the road, and the cattle grid gate was tied up with barbed wire) but the road section holds no great attraction in any case.
