This walk was surprisingly dry underfoot when I completed it after a series of wet days in March. It’s reasonably level and won’t detain you for too long – although you could choose to merge it with the Castle Loch walk. Dendrophiles will be delighted with the oak tree at the entrance to Halleaths Farm.
