A short walk through some mature native woodland on the edge of Dalbeattie, where various paths are waymarked.. The site is popular with dog walkers. Car parking is available at the entrance to the woods, which also serves as parking for Dalbeattie cemetery, a Commonwealth War Graves Commission site with good views over the town.
