An easy walk along the bank of the River Annan, then back into Moffat town centre along the side of the Old Edinburgh Road. A short section of the return leg is on the road but traffic was very light when I visited.
Don’t follow the instruction to climb the steps and drop down the bank on the other side of the road if you are doing the longer version of the walk – you can simply walk under the bridges.
